Our Sanders line of the family has always suggested that we are part Cherokee Indian.  Well, now we have found a Gedcom that suggests that we do!  We need help proving, or disproving this line.  The line supposedly goes like this:

Arbie Spears married William Riley Sanders:

Arbie's parents were Nathan Spears and Sarah Benson:

Sarah's parents were Wiley Benson and Mary M. Sheppard:

Mary's parents were John Sheppard and Nancy Jane Watts.

Nancy Jane's parents were:

Thomas Watts and Lavinia Huntley

Thomas' parents were:

John Watts Jr. and Mahala long:

John's parents were:

John Y. WATTS Sr. - 1 (Squire Watts, Old John)  and Gi-yo-sti- Ko-yo-he, Kay-io or "Ki" -Paint Clan
